Traveling abroad is an exciting adventure. When you travel abroad for the first time, you need to know all requirements that which documents you need to prepare and other things. You need to prepare everything before travel. There has no standard answer for this question because it all depends on where are you from and where you’re going. However, there are a few things, that you must do as standard procedure when traveling outside your country. *Passport

First, you need to prepare a passport. To make a passport you may need your birth certificate, NID, Passport size photo, proof of address, and some other documents. You can contact the local passport issuing office for more information or you can search on google “e-passport online application form in + (your country)” for an online passport and apply from your government website. You can get all requirements from the website.

*Visa

A travel visa is required for most countries, but not all countries require them in advance. But, after completing a passport, apply for the visa from the department of your local government office or you can apply online. To apply for the visa you will need a passport.

Common steps to Apply for a Visa

1. Check if you need a visa
2. Choose the type of visa you will apply for
3. Fill in the visa Application Form
4. Pay your application fee
5. Schedule visa interview
6. Compile the document file
7. Attend the visa interview
8. Wait for the processing

Medical verification Certificate

You may need a medical certificate to apply for a visa. This is the requirement for the visa. Travel visa has not this type of requirement. So, read carefully all visa requirements.

Health and Travel Insurance

If you have health and travel insurance, then you will need those. Bring proof of your international medical and/or travel insurance if you have purchased this prior to your trip.
